Goodness

I am finally getting the photos up I mentioned in the last post. You can imagine my surprise at encountering this example of knitting as we were walking the streets of Chicago. Too bad the cupcake shop was closed, or it would have been a momentous coming together of some of my favorite things. Come to think of it, Andrew and I had just come from the wonderful movie Once, we were sharing a cup of delicious Intelligentsia coffee, and we were on our way to get burritos. If we had added cupcakes to the goodness equation, it just might have been too much to handle. Speaking of good things, I have just started a new project: the u-neck vest from Fitted Knits. Perhaps for the first time ever, I am knitting the pattern out of the exact yarn and color that is shown in the book. I guess I loved it that much. I am about 7 or 8 inches up from the bottom, and it is a lot of fun. Mom and I are wondering if it might be a good class for the fall. Anyway, I'll post some photos when I'm a little further along. Right now it just looks like a ribby tube.
