Home-Buyer Nutcase

The short story is this: we found a house very, very quickly and made an offer almost immediately. Dad zipped over to check out that everything looked sound before we made an offer, and Mom followed after it was accepted so she could give some tips on interior matters. We are scheduled to close on Friday (!), and the whole process has made me feel completely nutty.
I am happy to report that the house does indeed have ample yarn storage potential. In fact, the basement has a very large finished bedroom that will serve as guest room/Ingrid's knitting haven. There's a really big closet with shelves that just look like they want yarn stored on them. I mean, if you were a shelf, wouldn't a basket of yarn beat foodstuffs or laundry detergent or back issues of Cooking Light anyday? Honestly.
Another place where the house and the knitting converge is the paint color. We are going to paint the living room, dining room, and entryway the same gold that is at A Grand Yarn. What does that say? Is it just that it is a really good color? Or do I want our house to feel like the yarn shop? Does it matter?
When my brain isn't muddied by the house stuff, I am working on the fall newsletter. I think the fall class lineup is so exciting, I can hardly stand it. I just love getting ready for fall.
