A Grand Yarn Days

I am here at A Grand Yarn until Friday morning, partly to be away while our house is being rewired, partly to be here in person to complete our fall newsletter. Anyway, my timing is nice in the sense that it is my great good fortune to be present as many new fall yarns are arriving. Yesterday we unloaded a big shipment of Rowan and Plymouth, which was full of fun new yarns and colors. And I'm having so much fun scoping out the other new yarns that have arrived, like Tahki Taos, Shubui Knits, and Mission Fall 1824 Wool Marled. Plus, the fall class models are rolling in, and they are all just beautiful. Gerda has just completed a Tahki Taos cardigan that just looks like a blast to knit, with stripes of different stitch patterns. Mom just complete the Leigh Radford felted circle tote, and I definitely want to make one of those. Oh, and Mary Perry's Aran felted mittens are beautiful, too. And there's more to come! Anyway, I am having such a great time absorbing it all.
