Getting Ready for Spokane

I leave for Spokane Wednesday night, and I'm very excited. I'm most looking forward to seeing everyone and spending some time in the shop, but I'm also happy to go stay in a house that is not in disarray as ours is. And then by the time I return, the hardwood floors will be done and we can actually start settling in. What a relief that will be.
On the knitting front, I've knit one skein's worth of the Manos circle vest, and I'm having a lot of fun with that. Of course, that's one of those projects that seems to be going really quickly, but since every other row has a bunch of increases, the progress gets slower and slower. At least I've completed enough now that you can really see the pattern, and I just passed the arm holes. So now it's just a whole lot of knitting in the round with some yo's and some texturing. I can't wait to wear it!
