Happy Halloween!

I bought a way-too-big bag of candy at Costco yesterday, but according to one of Andrew's colleagues who lives in the area, this neighborhood gets a lot of trick-or-treaters. I'm very excited to see them all. On Saturday I had the great good fortune of coming across a retail area in Greenlake that was having a trick-or-treating extravaganza. So the street was packed with little kids in costumes (many of them very little who probably won't be going out tonight). Melt my heart. Anyway, I'm trying to stay away from the candy, but I think I'm also starting to figure out that my bad pregnancy headaches might have a blood sugar connection because yesterday after I ate a peanut butter cup, my throbbing headache got much better. Or at least I like to convince myself that the candy helps me. :)
Knitting-wise, I am just about to start the sleeves on the baby sweater from Itty Bitty Nursery. One way or another I will definitely post a picture when I have the set done. Oh so cute.

I'm certainly enjoying your blog. I also live in Spokane and have visited your mom's yarn shop several times. I'm not a very proficient knitter although I've been crocheting since I was 7, (that was a loooonng time ago!) I'm very much hoping to have the time to take some knitting classes in another year or so at the shop. Anyway, please keep blogging, I love to read your stories.

p.s. I also found that peanut butter cups worked wonders when I was pregnant. My husband would go out in the middle of the night to buy them for me! LOL

Thanks for the peanut butter cup suggestion, Betsy! I tried a couple around Halloween, and they did really hit the spot.

So how many trick-or-treaters did you get and how much candy did you "have to" eat?
