A Lovely Thanksgiving

For the second time ever, Andrew and I hosted Thanksgiving this year. His parents came up from Portland, and his brother and his wife came down from Bellingham. The dinner came off without a hitch (if you exclude my very restless sleep the night before when I was thinking about the turkey brining in the garage). My appetite seems to be back--and in a big way--so I put away an incredible amount of food. I simply couldn't get enough stuffing and mashed potatotoes.

On the knitting front, I goofed on a sweater model and had to rip the whole thing out. Ugh. I needed a break before I started it again, so now I'm about halfway through a little Wonderful Wallaby. I'll post a picture soon. I never get tired of seeing the pouch fused to the body and having those little sweaters turn into the most adorable little things.
